In a star cluster far, far away in the galaxy...
Have you ever wondered if there are any intelligent species out there? And what would they look like? Or indeed, what would be their look on the world and their temper? What would they think of other intelligent beings in the galaxy?
What if you could control an alien race?
What kind of race would it be? Would they be crafty artificers who have taken their command of machines and building to unbelievable heights? Would they be biologists who can change and terraform totaly hostile planets to nice comfortable paradices? Would they be explorers to whom no corner of the galaxy is unknown? Or would they be conquerors who will not stop before all bow before them?
Far Horizons enables you to try out all this and more. It is a game of galactic exploration, research, conquest and much else designed by Rick Morneau. In Far Horizons, each player can create a race with it's own unique face and then proceed to explore the galaxy in the way it finds suitable. It is possible to play both the openminded explorer voyaging in the galaxy to find new brothers and sister in intelligence or the xenophobic conqueror who conqurers all it finds and then kills everybody with germ warfare.
While the game is not free, it is definately low cost.
To get started with the game, you can study the star cluster the game will take place in, the rules of the game and the billing system and finally, submit your race.
